Volunteering is such a rewarding act of kindness. There are opportunities to volunteer with the angel mamas organization as a committee member or through opportunities organized by us to benefit a charity. Benefitting Charities
Homeward Bound is a transitional housing program for homeless and domestic violence families with children. Their mission is to assist families in achieving economic independence, and break multi-generational cycles of homelessness and domestic violence. Homeward Bound also provides families with housing and social services that include mental health, employment, life skills, and childcare. They give families a "hand up, not a handout." Each family who participates in the program is required to contribute 30% of their income for their housing, utilities, and support services.
