Swank - Ladies, Lunch & Labels - December 3, 2009
This event was held at the beautiful Silverleaf Country Club at DC Ranch. Thank you to Kristen and our amazing partnership with Swank, who donated 10% of the proceeds to Homeward Bound.
The day went off without a hitch and we raised a ton of money for both Homeward Bound and angel mamas. This was a great example of how our mamas can mingle with like-minded women AND raise money for a great cause, all at the same time!

Heavenly Hot Cocoa - November 27, 2009
Over 30 amazing volunteers and their families donated their time to collect donations to support Homeward Bound's "Give a Child a Chance" program which provides the basic needs for children to sustain and thrive toward a bright and safe future. Our volunteers included children between the ages of 2 and 12 along with their parents and grandparents. angel mamas kids and young Desert Ridge "shoppers" enjoyed creating adorable penguin gift bags that were exclusively designed and donated by Lakeshore Learning Store.
A special thank you to Starbucks, Lakeshore Learning Store, Vestar Management for Desert Ridge Marketplace and our amazing volunteers!

Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure - October 11, 2009
Thank you to the 20+ "Team angel mamas" who represented our organization at the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. A special thank you to Shara Miller for being our "team captain" and to Liz Bowman who traveled from Nebraska to join us this year. This was a support event where each angel mama raised money for the Susan G. Komen organization. See you next year!
