Our Cherubs

Our Cherubs are our motivation to be the awesome angel mamas that we are. Meet our precious angel mamas' kids and check back often for new Cherub spotlights.

Lily, 5 & Maya, 8
angel mama - Ali

Lily & MayaLikes:

playing with American Girl dolls; playing Wii; webkinz.com; playing house; watching Jon and Kate Plus 8; reading; being artists; doing yoga; playing tennis; each other (most of the time); fried rice; edamame; fresh berries; bubble gum; root beer floats; helping others by doing "mitzah projects" to help support their community

Dislikes:

doing homework; sleepovers (prefer "sleep-unders"); long drives to California; anything spicy; making their beds; bugs!

Maya and Lily have demonstrated such a zest for helping those in need, which is why they are being featured in Cherub's Corner. They donated loads of their personal belongings to Homeward Bound, and obviously the feeling of giving back to those less fortunate was impactful, since they went back again and donated even more items! We are proud of these awesome kids for being so proactive and feeling the good vibes of giving back to the community.

angel mama - Tami

ChloeChloe is a volunteer with angel mamas kids. You may recognize her from the Lemonade Stand where she was featured on ABC 15 News. She, along with 15 other angel mamas kids, helped raise over $600 for the abused and neglected children at the West Valley Child Crisis Center. Chloe is an exceptional girl who is remarkably wise for her age. She understands her blessings and is compassionate towards those who are less fortunate than her. She is always eager to help and her enthusiasm is contagious! Great job Chloe! And many thanks to the mama who raised such a beautiful child!

Connor, 10
angel mama - Melissa

ConnorWhen Mom, Melissa, asked Connor what he wanted for his birthday this year, he said that he wanted to take donations for the angel mamas' charity, West Valley Child Crisis Center. He told his mom that he didn't need another toy that was going to break three months down the road, especially when there are so many children that don't have anything. So, for Connor’s tenth birthday, he and his friends and family celebrated Connor’s life as well as their good fortune. angel mamas is proud to report that Connor’s Birthday Party raised over $400 for the kids at WVCCC! In addition to the monetary donations, Connor’s friends and family also donated a number of supplies and clothing items. Way to go Connor! We’re all so proud of you and extremely touched by your selflessness.

angel mamas KIDS!

Throughout the year, volunteer opportunites become available for angel mamas to particpate with their kids.
