angel mamas lends its resources and services to local charities in the community. We focus on organizations that help women, children and families. Our efforts lean toward charities that may not have a lot of national recognition and don't receive a large amount of funding. Volunteering is our main effort and we like to help charities that seem to really need a "mother's touch."

2010 Focus Charity
Devereux Arizona is a non-profit organization that provides treatment programs & community services to children, adults, and families experiencing behavioral challenges brought on by abuse, neglect, mental illness and/or substance abuse.
The Devereux Arizona Residential Treatment Center is located in Scottsdale and is a 24-hour supportive treatment environment that offers a full range of psychiatric and therapeutic services. Stay tuned to learn of highly anticipated opportunities to get involved with this amazing organization.
Devereux Arizona has been changing lives through high quality human service treatment programs and community based services to children, adults and families experiencing behavioral challenges brought on by abuse, neglect and/or mental illness since 1967.
Devereux impacts approximately 1,600 individuals per month by providing customized services relevant to client needs. They address the mental and behavioral health needs of abused children through thirteen programs in Arizona ranging from residential treatment care to therapeutic foster care, group care, and outpatient services.
Devereux assists families at risk of losing their children, providing for the safety and stability of the children. Devereux embraces and implements a “Philosophy of Care” compromised of three core principles: to provide services that are effective, accountable and stress positive approaches. Devereux changes lives and nurtures human potential. They inspire hope, ensure well-being, and promote meaningful life choices.
The Sterling Award for Non-Profit Business was presented to Devereux Arizona by the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce.
The award recognizes a charitable organization contributing to the social, cultural and educational well-being of its constituents.

Devereux Arizona is a perfect match for angel mamas since it focuses on the needs of women, children and families (a primary angel mamas goal) and there is a huge potential for interaction among volunteers and the children.
The angel mamas' membership understands the fundamental need for children to be loved and nurtured, regardless of their circumstances. These children need community support mostly in the form of our time and energy because that is how they derive positive examples of healthy family and community relationships.
